Cross cultural
collective of multi-media cyber rebels, art errorists, audio
and visual communicators: formed in 1990, this pioneering
acid dub Sound System comprises Molara (vocals and percussion),
Cod (melodica), Tench (Live Dub Mixing), Hake (Trumpet)
and Forkbeard (Trombone). One of the planet's most prolific
groups producing everything from recorded music to magazines,
CD-ROMs to a Internet Sites, Sound Systems to book publishing.
They are also 2 and 3D designers, artists, club runners,
writers, producers, remixers and programmers, record label
owners, environmental and justice campaigners as well as
pioneers of art and ideas - you name it Zion Train do it...
all over the world.
Have released six albums: 'Passage To Indica', 'Natural
Wonders of The World in Dub' (which entered the indie charts
at 18), 'Siren' (No.9), 'Homegrown Fantasy' (No.6), and
last year's 'Grow Together' LP (No.5). Have released one
of the best value CD-ROMs ever ('Brilliant... the best CD-ROM
of '95' - The Wire, 'Astounding' - Arena) a companion to
the 'Homegrown Fantasy' LP, and selling at a third of the
usual price, it is a genuine interactive album, bursting
with sound, visuals, information, a remixable track and
the world's first ever interactive interview with situationalist
and Sex Pistol's graphic artist Jamie Reid. Released the
world's first ever promotional dub video for 1995's 'Get
Ready'.

signed with China from Universal Egg in '94. Run their own
club Bass Odyssey, described in The Independent thus 'you
won't find a better dub all nighter in the capital' Play most
major festivals across Europe the band play over 150 world-wide
gigs each year.
Produce their own e-zine, The Wobbler which comes chock full
of thought provoking and useful information.
