Doseone is the nowhere man: out to make the world small and make something lovely out of his neurosis. Sometime in the misty past he skipped Cincinnati town for somewhere more, dreamt in the dust of a marketing degree. A scatterbrain genius he became one of the founders of San Francisco's anticon collective; a group dedicated to the advancement of hip-hop. Removing the violence and sexism of the mainstream and creating something new, something unique. Through his work with the much lauded cLOUDDEAD and his recent collaboration with Boom Bip, he's become one of the most prominent members of this "new hip hop" scene.
Jel is the drum machine's premiere musician. Somehow managing to combine an expermental edge to coherent beats and produce a distinct few-bit sound and rhythmic sensibility render him coveted by vocalists far and wide. He provides themselves with beats as sharp and essential as Doseone's lyrical flow.
