SLINT
Slint was formed in the late eighties and has released two critically acclaimed albums that, to this day, are unrivaled in their intensity and beauty. TWEEZ, Slint's first record, was originally released on the Jennifer Hartman Records label in 1988 and re-issued by Touch and Go in May of 1993. SPIDERLAND, number two for the band and the first released by Touch and Go, saw daylight in April of 1991. Both records have gone on to become highly successful and seem to increase in popularity with each passing week.
1994 saw the release of an untitled single. It contains a new version of "rhoda" taken from the Tweez album and one previously unheard song which mirrors more the beauty of Spiderland. Whether or not this single acts as fitting homage signalling the end of Slint, or lights the way for a new era, is open to interpretation. Dave Pajo now plays with Tortoise and M.
Brian McMahon now plays in The For Carnation on Matador Records. He also used to be in Squirrel Bait. (As did Britt and Ethan).

Britt Walford is now in Evergreen. He was once a member of Bastro. Britt can also be found playing on The Breeders album "Pod" under the name "Mike Hunt".
Ethan Bucker now plays in King Kong.
Brian, Todd and Britt played on the first Palace Brothers album "There is no-one what will take care of you".
