| Dianogah
is arguably the best band in chicago, when it comes to floor
hockey. Jason, Kip and Jay have undoubtebly been playing as
a band together since january 1995. They came together with
the drive, the vision and the desire to write some songs and
play some shows. Early on, Dianogah carefully selected the
gimmick of having one drummer and two bass players because
none of them knew how to play guitar. While operating under
the two main principles of: 1) appealling to the audience's
short attention span 2) the theme "nothing is too stupid",
Dianogah has toured with or shared the stage with just about
everyone except GUIDED BY VOICES and BUILT TO SPILL. When
not touring in their critically acclaimed van, Jason, Kip
and Jay are, in fact, avid floor hockey buffs and will proudly
limp around and show off six swollen, scarred shins. The band
does brisk business with virtual fans, having sold dozens
of t-shirts via the world wide web on the Dianogah internet.
They also enjoy writing about themselves in the third person,
and currently reside in chicago.
